Originally from Western Colorado, Hunter Whaley is now based in New York City and pursuing his lifelong passion of filmmaking. Hunter has worked professionally in both production and post-production while mounting independent projects on the side, including Der Platz (2022) which was awarded Best Experimental Short at the Manhattan Film Festival. His latest, a proof-of-concept comedy short called The Big Whatsit, was shot entirely on miniDV tape and will be made available to the public at the conclusion of its festival run.
